Magdalena M Photogapher
September 4, 2009
So, it’s been a while since I have made an entry, but I was on vacation!
But I am now back and want to share a treasure i have been holding on to for a while now….(drumroll)…Magdalena M, an amazingly talented freelance fashion photographer based in Toronto.
I love the colours and the detail in her images. Her work almost always make me want to jump up and dance (lol). She’s also a talented make-up artist, and set designer, when needed. She even creates her own clothing designs (background in fashion).
Anyways I don’t have to say much, I think her images say it all. Also check out her website www.dizma.com (I helped out with it, absolute pleasure!)
Macro Photography (Truly Inspirational)
September 27, 2008
Things I managed to accomplish…
I have passed my courses (database courses I was taking to enhance my web skilllzzzz) with ‘flying’ colours and couldn’t be happier. And to think I thought I might’ve failed, that’s a big leap. Thank God
. Next step, start putting that to practice.
I managed to run for 30 mins straight! That’s right, I’m a brick house!
I also finally got around to finalizing my name change, before our one year anniversary!
So things are flowing, pretty well. Good motion happening here
.
Anyways, more inspiration coming from Smashing Magazine’s latest (one of them) article. The colours and details were just too gorgeous to pass by. I can only hope to get a camera that can capture detail like this, one day.To learn more about the photographers, click on the images. Except the bubbly one by Sophie, I couldn’t find any link to that one. If anyone knows a link, please let me know and I would be happy to add in in.
Weddings are here!
July 3, 2008
These might be some good links to bookmark if you are planning a wedding.
Wedding Wire (WPJA)
This is a good site to look up and compare hundreds of vendors (wedding related). A good way to keep track of the going-ons in the wedding industry.

Wedding Photojournalist Association’s (WPJA)
I came across this link, that I think would come in handy for a lot of people starting to look for a good photographer.
WedPix, the Wedding Photojournalist Association’s (WPJA) Online Magazine, is a complimentary resource for brides and grooms, photographers, wedding planners and all wedding photojournalism enthusiasts. It contains several articles on a variety of different topics, from info on various photographers to wedding photographer advice for the couples.
Invites are also an important part. Some of my custom designs can be viewed on my online store.
Capturing Memories on Your Day
July 3, 2008
It’s really funny how you can get carried away browsing the internet. One minute your browsing through an article on typography the next, you’ve clicked a link on that blog and find yourself scrolling through a site displaying some really creative photography. And that is how I came across The Wiebners!

The Wiebners is a husband and wife team bound through their love of photography. Joel and Rita Wiebner are an excellent team, and thats quite evident in their work. They specialize in weddings, their main philosophy being, ‘Capture memories in a fun and different way’. They definitely have a unique approach to capturing the moment. Each wedding is so very different and fun from the other and they capture that beautifully. I absolutely LOVE their candids.
Theirs is the kind of photography you can look back years from that special day and still be able to picture what truly happened that day.
“Our passion is seeing the right light, chasing a fleeting expression, and communicating our art through the love in your day. From the salon to the getaway we document your story with our combined vision for the uniqueness that describes your union. Your bond offers the inspiration for our most treasured ability.”
